How to Auto-Start a Guest VM in Oracle VM

1) Open the Oracle VM Manager CLI.

2) Find the server pool ID:

show ServerPool name=<Server Pool Name>

3) Find the guest VM ID:

show Vm name=<Guest VM Name>

4) Connect to the Oracle VM Server host.

5) Create a symbolic link to the vm.cfg file of the guest VM:

ln -s /OVS/Repositories/<Server Pool ID>/VirtualMachines/<Guest VM ID>/vm.cfg /etc/xen/auto/<Guest VM ID>

2) Restart the host.
